Today we would like to introduce a new member of our McBox family: McBoxGFP. Following the great success of the McBoxluc with our worldwide first luciferase minicircle and due to the increasing demand for GFP minicircle DNA the new McBoxGFP is available with immediate effect.

The McBoxGFP contains minicircle DNA with the green fluorescent protein (GFP) as well as the corresponding (conventional) plasmid. This allows you to compare both molecules in your experimental setting.

The GFP minicircle encloses 2257 bp and is significantly smaller than the normal plasmid. It consists almost exclusively of the “gene of interest” (here: GFP) and is free from unnecessary and unwanted sequences like antibiotic resistance genes or the bacterial ori.
